Utilization of Antihypertensive Drugs During the Period of 2005-2009

Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To probe into the utilization of oral antihypertensive drugs(chemical drugs) in our hospital so as to provide references for clinical rational administration of this kind of drugs.METHODS:The utilization of antihypertensive drugs during 2005-2009 was analyzed statistically in respect of the drug varieties,consumption sum,DDDs etc.RESULTS:Over the 5 years,the consumption sum and DDDs of the antihypertensive drugs in our hospital increased rapidly,leading the list on DDDs list was calcium-channel blocker followed by Angiotensin Ⅱ receptor antagonists and angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors.The DDDs order of those typew with low prices such as inderal and Compound Hypotensive Tablets were also ranked at the front places.CONCLUSION:The utilization structure of antihypertensive drugs in our hospital is basically reasonable.
