Abstract

Objective: To explore the therapeutic efficacy of Dachaihu Decoction subtraction and addition method in treat-ing acute pancreatitis. Methods: 68 cases of acute pancreatitis were assigned randomly to treatment group(34 cases) and control group(34 cases).Treatment group were treated with conventional therapy combined with Dachaihu Decoction subtrac-tion and addition method administrated through gastric tube.Control group were treated with conventional therapy com-bined with 5% brown sugar water administrated through gastric tube. The therapeutic efficacy of the two groups were com-pared.Results: The therapeutic efficacy of the treatment group was better than that in control group(P0.05);pancreas Balthazar CT value and APACHE Ⅱ value of the treatment group were significantly lower in the treatment group(P0.05).Conclusion: Dachaihu Decoction subtraction and addition method, when added to conventional therapy, can significantly improve the symptoms of acute pancreatitis, reduce complications and mortality, and improve prognosis.
