Abstract
Because of the low stability of high concentration polyferric chloride flocculant,it′s cosmically use is limited.In order to improve the stability,different proportion of acetic acid,silicate,citric acid,phosphate and so on were added to the polysilicic acid-polyferric chloride solutions.With the aim to find a perfect new polyferric chloride flocculant,the difference of several kinds of composite flocculants were compared from the aspects of configuration distribution,stability,coagulate performance,and the applications in wastewater treatment.For the first attemption,proper amount of citric acid was added,which was proved can notably improve the coagulation performance and stability of the polyferric chloride flocculant.
