Abstract

Objective To investigate clinical observation and pharmacological analysis of glycyrrhizin in treating psoriasis vulgaris. Methods 90 cases of patients with psoriasis vulgaris elected as subjects were randomly divided into observation group and control group(45 cases of each group). All patients were treated with vitamin A acid cream, mometasone furoate cream and narrow-band UVB therapy. And the patients of observation group were treated with glycyrrhizin plus by intravenous infusion. After total course of eight weeks, the psoriasis area and the PASI score standards were used to evaluate the treatment of patients of two groups. And serum IL-17, IL-22, IL-23 levels of patients of two groups were determined before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group. The difference was statistically significant(P 0.05). After treatment, serum IL-17, IL-22, IL-23 levels were significantly lower those pre-treatment(P 0.05). Conclusion It reaches a curative treatment for glycyrrhizin in treating psoriasis vulgaris, which correct the patient's immune disorders.
