Clinical Observation of the Effect of Misoprostol Combined with Lidocaine Before Curettage

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of misoprostol combined with lidocaine under uterine nerve block anesthesia before curettage.Methods 100 patients with 8～12 weeks'pregnancy were randomly divided into two groups,the 50 patients in observation group took oral misoprostol 0.4mg before curettage,5mL of 1% lidocaine was injected into the cervix before operation.The patients in control group didn't take medicine.the following between the two groups such as dilatation of cervix,the syndrorne of artificial abortion,operative time and bleeding during operation were observed.Results There were marked differences(P0.01),the observation group obtained better effect than control group,the dilatation of cervix was better,the syndrome of artificial abortion was less happening,the operative time was less,the bleeding was less.Conclusion Misoprostol combined with lidocaine under uterine nerve block anesthesia has good effect before curettage,with convenient operation,simple application and less side effect.it's worth clinically of spreading.
