Abstract

The hepatic stellate cell (HSC) activate and convert into myofibroblast cell is the core link of the development of liver fibrosis.Transforming growth factor β1(TGF-β1) is a key factor to mediate the start and the activation of the HSC.Interference TGF-β 1 and its cell signal introduction way is a hot point on research of hepatic fibrosis therapy. This article reviewed the development of this aspect.
