Value of Clinical Nursing Pathway in Interventional Therapy of Patients with Congenital Heart Disease

Objective To investigate the application value of clinical nursing pathway(CNP) in the interventional therapy of patients with congenital heart disease(CHD).Methods 145 cases with CHD from 2006 to 2008 were divided into control group(n=70) and CNP group(n=75).The control group received routine nursing care,while the CNP group received care by clinical nursing pathway.The days and cost of hospitalization,incidence of complication and the satisfaction rate of patients and doctors were analyzed.Results The time and cost of hospitalization in the CNP group were obviously less than that in the control group(P0.01).There were significant difference in the incidence of complication and the satisfaction rate between the two groups(P0.01).Conclusion The using of CNP in nursing management can increase the satisfaction rate of patients with CHD,reduce the time and cost of hospitalization and the rate of complication,and improve the quality of nursing case.
