Application of clinical nursing pathway in patients with uterine arteryembolization

Abstract
Objective To study the effect of clinical nursing pathway(CNP) in the intervention therapy of uterine arteryembolization.Methods A total of 80 patients undergoing the intervention therapy of uterine arteryembolization were randomly divided into study group(n=40) and control group(n=40).The study group received CNP and the control group routine nursing.The hospitalization cost,hospital duration,the effectiveness of health education,and patients′ satisfactoriness of both groups were compared.Results The mean cost and hospital duration were significantly shorter in the study group than in the control group(P0.05).The effectiveness of health education and patients′ satisfactoriness were higher in the study group than in the control group(P0.01).Conclusion The application of CNP in the intervention therapy of uterine arteryembolization can significantly reduce medical expenses,shorten hospital stay and improve nursing quality.
