Mortality and PYLL & AYLL Analysis of Malignant Tumors in Haimen Residents during 1999～2000

Abstract
Objective To throughly understand the death rates of malignant cancers among the residents of Haimen,Jiangsu province.Methods Data of 3 857 cases died of malignant cancers during year 1999~2000 in Haimen was collected and analyzed on the death features,trend,and PYLL AYLL.Results For the malignant cancers,the average annual mortality was 186 06/100 000 (250 31/100 000 in male,122 86/100 000 in female,respectively),standardized mortality 119 93/100 000(165 14/100 000 in male,76 75/100 000 in female),accumulated mortality 17 10%(24 65% male,10 29% female).The ratio of PYLL for malignant cancers was 18 66‰(25 53‰ in male,11 70% in female),standardized ratio of PYLL was 14 96‰(20 32‰ in male,9 63‰ in female).The AYLL was 14 48 year/person(14 38 for male,14 72 female).Conclusion The main cancers that caused life lost in locals were liver cancer,lung cancer,stomach cancer,leukaemia and cerebral cancer.\;
