Clinical Observation on Warm Needling plus Dimensional-dynamic Electric Treatment for Cervical Spondylosis of Nerve-root Type

Abstract

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of the combination of warm needling therapy and dimensional-dynamic electric treatment in treating cervical spondylosis of nerve-root type.Method A total of 210 patients with cervical spondylosis of nerve-root type were randomized into a treatment group(n=108) managed by warm needling and dimensional-dynamic electric treatment,and a control group(n=102) intervened by ordinary needling and cupping therapy.The cervical movement and therapeutic effect were evaluated after 2 treatment courses.Result The total effective rate of the treatment group(92.6%) was significantly superior to that of the control group(82.4%)(P0.01).Conclusion The combination of warm needling and dimensional-dynamic electric treatment can effectively increase the therapeutic effect in treating cervical spondylosis of nerve-root type.
