Abstract
Objective To observe the effect on hemodynamic and the therapeutic result of warm needling therapy in treating cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type. Methods Sixty patients with cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type were randomized into a treatment group and a control group,30 in each. The treatment group was intervened by warm needling therapy, and the control was treated with conventional acupuncture therapy. The color Doppler ultrasonography was adopted before and after treatment for evaluating the therapeutic effects.Result There were significant differences in hemodynamic indexes between the two groups after treatment(P0.05).The differences in recovery rate and total effective rate were both significant between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Warm needling therapy can obviously increase the velocity of blood flow, and is an effective way for treating cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type.
