Therapeutic Observation on Acupoint Application Combined with Warm Needling Therapy for Cervical Spondylosis Complicated with Frozen Shoulder

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupoint application and warm needling therapy in treating cervical spondylosis complicated with frozen shoulder.Method Ninety-six patients with cervical spondylosis and frozen shoulder were randomized into two groups.The treatment group received acupoint application plus warm needling therapy,and the control received ordinary warm needling therapy.The therapeutic efficacies were observed.Result The total effective rate was 97.9% in the treatment group,versus 79.2% in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion The combination of acupoint application and warm needling therapy is significantly superior to ordinary warm needling therapy in comparing the total effective rate.
