On Professional Development of High-School Teachers in the Background of Deepening of Curriculum Reform

The high-school curriculum reform has become an important content of the international educational reform.It is more than 10 years since China's instituting of the reform in 2003,and now a new round of reform is to be inaugurated in the full-time high school curriculum scheme.Teachers are the most important force in the curriculum reform.In order to be adapted to the comprehensiveness,diversification,school-centeredness and internationalization of today's curriculum reform,high-school teachers need to improve their professional belief,knowledge and competence.The professional development of high-school teachers should,therefore,aim at training expert teachers by following the principle of talent training,so as to achieve the goal of deepening the curriculum reform.
