Effect and significance of intervention nursing care on operations of rectal cancer

Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect and significance of nursing intervention care on operations of rectal cancer.Methods:A Retrospective analysis was made on 52 cases undergoing rectal cancer surgery of our hospital from May 2010 to May 2011 and they were randomly divided into two groups:intervention group(n=26) and control group(n=26) .Control group was only given routine nursing both during operation and postoperative while intervention group was additionally given intervention.The following indices will be analyzed postoperatively,such as the mental condition,the satisfaction rate and the complications of two groups.Results:①The other indices in SCL-90 in intervention group were more superior than that in control group except for interpersonal sensitivity,the difference was statistically significant;②The incidence of infectious complications in intervention group was better than that in control group(P0.05) ,especially genital infections;③The satisfaction rate of patients in intervention group were also higher than control group(P0.01) .Conclusion:Nursing intervention is effectively both on the prevention of infectious complications and improvement of satisfaction rate of patients,worth to be promoted.
