Effect of nursing intervention on recovery after laparoscopic surgery in gynecological cancer patients

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of nursing intervention on recovery after laparoscopic surgery in gyneco logical cancer patients.Methods 130 gynecological cancer patients with laparoscopic surgery in Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital of Zhoushan City from October 2011 to October 2012 were selected and randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group,with 65 cases in each group.The intervention group was given whole course of individualized nursing intervention care.The control group was given routine care.The pain visual analogue scale(VAS),postoperative function recovery,quality of life and disease recurrence within postoperative a year in two groups were recorded and compared.Results The VAS in different time period after surgery of the intervention group were lower than those of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).The days in hospital [(7.16±2.14) d] of the intervention group was less than that of control group [(9.92 ±2.17) d],the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).The score of life quality of the intervention group was better than that of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion The implementation of whole course of individualized nursing intervention care can promote rehabilitation,increase the postoperative quality of life,reduce the recurrence rate and improve the effect of laparoscopic surgery.
