Abstract

Objective: To explore laparoscopic cholecystectomy and open cholecystectomy in treatment of gallstone. Methods: 90 cases of gallstone patients who were admitted to our hospital from January 2010 to July 2013 were selected as research objects. According to the ways of treatment they were divided into the laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC for short) group and open cholecystectomy(the OC) groups, and then the efficacy of their treatments was compared. Results: LC group operation time, intraoperative blood loss, antibiotic use time, gastrointestinal function recovery time, hospital stay and perioperative indicators were significantly better than OC Group(P0.05); LC group complication rate was 0.1%;the OC the incidence of complications was 3%; the incidence of complications of LC group was obviously lower than OC group(P 0.05). Conclusion: The advantages of Laparoscopic cholecystectomy in the treatment of gallstone are as follows: less bleeding, quick postoperative recovery, shorter hospital stay, which is a safe and reliable method of treatment.
