Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the pathogenic bacteria distribution and antibiotic resistance of the isolates from blood samples. METHODS Blood culture data from 2008 to 2010,were analyzed retrospectively. RESULTS Totally 241 pathogens were isolated from 2308 blood culture samples and the positive rate was 10.4%.Ninety-six gram-positive bacteria strains accounted for 39.8%,145 gram-negative bacteria strains accounted for 60.2%,but vancomycin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and imipenem-resistant enterobacteriacea were not found. CONCLUSION Clinicians should use the antibiotics reasonably based on the drug susceptibility results in order to control nosocomial infections and reduce multidrug-resistant bacteria.
