On the Current Situation and Countermeasures of the Environmental Legal Education in Colleges

Abstract

The environmental legal education in the colleges is significant cultivating the legal quality of college students, promoting the harmony between man and nature, and urging the implement of China's sustainable development strategy. Although legal education has been introduced to colleges for many years, the environment legal education is rather weak in colleges nevertheless with many problems accordingly. In order to strengthen the environmental legal education in college, we must establish a clear position for it in higher education field, enhance its proportion in courses set system of university, strengthen its effect in cultivating environmental concept of college students and highlight its role in guiding the university students' behaviour.
