Abstract
Objective: To study the α-glucosidase inhibitory activity of extracts from Saururus chinensis(Lour.) Baill. Methods: By establishing α-glucosidase inhibitory model in vitro, the activity of extracts from S.Chinensis was screened. The relationship of inhibitory ratio with the extract concentration was also studied. Results: The extracts from S.Chinensis showed good inhibitory activity onα-Glucosidase.The ethyl acetate from S.Chinensis had the highest inhibitor activity(IC50=122.7 mg/L),and the next ones were petroleum ether and n-butanol ether(IC50 =203.3 mg/L、IC50=659.9 mg/L).Three extracts of S.Chinensis(Lour.) Baill showed higher activity than that of Acarbose(IC50=1 103.01 mg/L).Conclusion: The extracts from S.Chinensis had good inhibitory activity on αglucosidase.
