Abstract

The inhibitory activities of different polar solvent extracts from Cortex Cinnamomi on α-glucosidase were assayed in vitro. The results showed that all these extracts had different inhibitory activity against α-glucosidase,and the n-BuOH extract had the highest inhibitory activity on α-glucosidase(IC50=83.10 μg/mL),which was more lower than that of Acarbose(IC50=572.76 μg/mL).The inhibitory kinetic of n-BuOH extract was investigated, and the inhabitory type was anticompetitive(Ki=53.75 μg/mL).
