Clinical observation on the effects of ganglioside and neurological rehabilitation in treatment of patients with acute cerebral infarction

Objective To explore the effect of monosialoganglioside(GM1) plus rehabilitation to the patients with acute cerebral infarction,providing advice to the treatment of the disease.Methods 136 patients with cerebral infarction form January 2007 to July 2009 treated in my hospital recruitment.All patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group according to treatment.the treatment group treated with monosialoganglioside and rehabilitation;control group of conventional rehabilitation therapy.Results The FMA scores of two groups before treatment were(34.7±19.3) and(32.2±20.2) respectively,Bathel index scores were(28.3±15.1) and(26.4±16.3).After treatment the FMA score were(68.8±26.5) and(50.3±25.1),Barthel index were(56.7±15.8) and(41.5±14.6) respectively.After treatment,the treatment group FMA score and Barthel index was significantly higher(P0.05).The treatment group of patients was significantly higher than control group.Conclusion The efficacy of monosialoganglioside to the patients with cerebral infarction was significant,can significantly improve the patient's quality of life,worthy to applied widely.
