Abstract

Objective To evaluate the effect of combined with pliacoemulsification, lens implantation and trabeculectomy for the treatment of angle-closure glaucoma with cataract. Methods 36 patients(48 eyes)with glaucoma and cataract were treated with phacoemulsification, lens implantation and trabeculectomy. The changes of postoperative vision, intraocular pressure, anterior chamber angle fundus and visual field were observed.Follow-up was 6 months. Results postoperative vision, anterior chamber angle were all improved.More degeneration was not found in perimetry.Postoperative intraoculnr pressure were reduced to a mean of(16.02±2.14)mmHg.They were in normal.Shallow anterior chambers were found in short time postoperatively in 23 eyes. Conclusions Combined phacoemulsification lens implantation and trabeculectomy is an effective method for the treatment of angle-closure glaucoma with cataract.
