Analysis on clinical efficacy of nosocomial centralized training in treatment of amblyopia

Abstract

Objective:To observe the clinical significance of nosocomial centralized training in treatment of amblyopia and analyze the curative effect.Methods:258 cases with amblyopia receiving amblyopic treatment on nosocomial computer from 1993 to 2006 were selected and divided into two groups: amblyopic treatment on nosocomial computer+nosocomial centralized training group (observation group), amblyopic treatment on nosocomial computer+ autogenic training at home group (control group); curative effect, course of treatment, the time for cure and cure rate were analyzed and dealt with statistics.Results:The cure rates of observation group (181 eyes) and control group (268 eyes) were 97.2% and 81.7%, respectively, there was significant difference in cure rate between the two groups (P0.05); within one year, 158 eyes in observation group (87.3%) and 116 eyes in control group (43.3%) were cured, there was significant difference in cure rate between the two groups (P0.01); 159 eyes in observation group (88.4%) and 126 eyes in control group (47%) were cured after a course of treatment, there was significant difference in cure rate between the two groups (P0.01).Conclusion:Nosocomial centralized training combined with amblyopic treatment may shorten the course of treatment and promote early cure rate.
