Abstract
OBJECTIVE To compare the effects of different modes of publicity in the control of hospital infections in department of stomatology.METHODS A total of 326 cases of oral surgery patients were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group. The control group was taken with regular health education, and the observation group was treated with targeted health education. The situation grasped on oral anti-infection-related knowledge before and after surgery, and nosocomial infection rate occurred during the treatment or hospitalization were compared.RESULTS The grasp of the control of nosocomial infections before the surgery was compared, the excellent and good rate of the observation group was 71.2%,and the excellent rate of the control group was 57.7%,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05);after the surgery, the excellent rate of the grasp of the nosocomial infection control was 92.0%,72.4% the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05);the incidence of nosocomial infections in the patients of the observation group during the treatment and the hospitalization period was 2.5%,lower than 8.0% of the control group(P0.05).CONCLUSION Targeted health education can improve patients′ understanding and mastery of the nosocomial infection control effectively and coordinate the medical work of nursing staff so as to reduce the incidence of nosocomial infections due to dental surgery.
