Determination of geniposide in longdanxiegan by HPLC

Abstract

Aim To establish a method for determining geniposide in longdanxiegan pills(water pills)by HPLC.Method C18 column was used with acetonitril-water(12∶88)as mobile phase.Flow rate was 1.0 ml·min-1.Results The linear relationship of geniposide was at the range from 6.08 to 48.66 mg·L-1.The average recovery was 100.20% and RSD was 0.53%.Conclusion This method is simple,accurate and well reproducible.It can be used for the quality control.
