Abstract
It is vitally important that local teachers' colleges improve the professionalization of teacher education while propelling their own integration construction,in order to maintain and advance the distinguishing features of their teacher education.In recent years,some local teachers' colleges have specially set up educational institutions,studying and practising different development modes with their own features.In this paper,the author makes a comparative analysis on existing reforming modes of teacher education and the problems encountered.Based on the analysis,a tentative study on the reform of teacher education in local teachers' colleges in China and the construction of Teacher Education College is made.
