Analysis of 291 ADR Reports in Our Hospital

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the characteristics of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) in our hospital, and master the present situation of ADR monitoring to avoid the drug risk in clinic. Methods: ADR reports in our hospital from December 1, 2007 to November 30, 2008 were downloaded from national ADR monitoring network in terms of Excel form. The related data formats were converted and analyzed statistically. Results: Of the 291 ADR cases, anti-infective agents ranked the first and followed by the antitumor agents and the nutritional drugs. The lesions of systems or organs involved in ADRs were the systemic disorders, gastrointestinal system disorders and skin and appendage damages. 240 ADR cases (82.5%) were induced by the intravenous drip. 22 Categories of medicines were involved in the new and serious ADR reports. Conclusion: It should be paid more attention to the new and serious ADR reports, extracting signal, expanding safe research, promulgating precaution to decrease the drug risk.
