Abstract
Objective To analyze the characteristics and regularity of the adverse drug reaction (ADR) occurred in our hospital so as to ensure rational drug use and clinical safe. Methods By a retrospective study,a total of 100 ADR case reports collected from our hospital from 2007 to 2008 were subjected to a statistical analysis in respect of patients’age and sex, route of administration, drug categories inducing ADRs,the organs or system involved and the clinical manifestations etc. Results Of the total 100 ADR cases,68. 0 % were induced by intravenous administration, and 51. 0 % were induced by anti-infective drugs, followed by drugs used for nervous system and cardiovascular disease. Conclusion ADR monitoring should be strengthened and the related ADR reporting and analyzing system should be evolved to ensure clinical safe and effective use of drugs.
