Abstract
Objective To know the germicidal and practical disinfection effect of a compound disinfection gel with triclosan and alcohol. Methods The carrier quantitative germicidal test and field disinfection test were used to detect the germicidal effect of the disinfection gel in the laboratory. Results The content of tricolan in the disinfectant was 1 100 mg / L,the content of alcohol in the disinfectant was 45. 1%. The average killing rate of Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Candida albican on the carrier exposed to the disinfectant for 3. 0min were all 100%. But the average inactivation logarithm value of Poliovirus was only 1. 20. In field trial,the killing logarithm value of natural bacteria on the surface of hands was 2. 24 after scrubbed by the disinfection gel for 3 min. Conclusion The disinfection gel has good germicidal effect on the vegetative form of bacteria and fungi. It can be used for hands disinfection.
