Yiqi Runchang Decoction for the Treatment of Constipation in Elderly with Controlled Observation

Abstract
[Objective]Investigate Yiqi Runchang Decoction in the treatment of constipation in elderly clinical effect.[Methods]from 2011 January to 2012 June in our hospital in 80 cases of elderly patients with Qi deficiency,were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 40 cases in each group,control group given Maren Zipi pills orally,treatment group given Yiqi Runchang Decoction oral side,15d for 1 courses,1 courses of treatment the curative effect.[Results]The cure rate of the treatment group is 75.00%,effective rate was 15.00%,the effective rate was 10.00%,total effective rate was 90.00%;the control group the cure rate was 37.50%,the effective rate was 27.50%,the effective rate was 25.00%,no efficiency of 10.00%,the total efficiency of 65.00%,the total effective rate of treatment group was superior to control group,the cure rate.[Conclusion]Yiqi Runchang Decoction for the treatment of constipation in elderly with exact effect,can raise the cure rate,better than Maren Zipi pills.
