The evolution of the theory on industrial cluster——Based on the perspective of an organization

Based on the perspective of industrial organization,this paper argues that the theory on the forming of industrial cluster is evolving along the path resources—cost—competitiveness—globalization. The organization of industrial cluster is posited between market and firm,constructed by network relations and network resources. The growth of it has different characteristics in different stages for the influence of various factors,especially international competition and global economy. Therefore,the future research on the domain may be focused on the interaction between the organization of cluster and its form’s internationalization.
