Abstract
The results of the traditional earned value method cannot do a detailed deviation analysis in the practice of project.Based on the differences between the schedule tasks and the new tasks and the discrimination of the concepts of the three basic parameters(BCWS,BCWP,ACWP),some new basic parameters and the deviation analysis indicators are presented.A practical example shows that the improved earned value method is raised to rich the deviation analysis of project performance about its schedule and its cost.
