Abstract
Earned value(EV) is a sharp tool to the performance measurement analysis and quantitative prediction of project through integrating schedule with cost analysis.Practically,EV will have certain deviation when some of the indexes cannot describe the implementation of project accurately. Therefore,an improved EV is presented.Based on a concrete analysis of the role of the revised index in project performance management, improved EV shows a better results in the analysis and comprehensive prediction of the project schedule performance.
