Abstract
Objective: To determine the content of puerarin in Sichuan Radix puerariae thomsonii by HPLC. Methods: The C18 column(4.6 mm×150 mm, 5 μm) was used with a mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(25∶75) at the flow rate of 0.8 ml/min, the detection wavelength was 250 nm and the column temperature was 25℃. Results: The content of puerarin showed good linearity in the rage of 0.088 0-0.704 0 μg, the regression equation was A=336.35X-1.771 6, r=1.000 0, and the average recovery was 100.01% with a RSD of 0.14%(n=6). Conclusion: The method is simple, accurate and can be used to control the quality of Sichuan Radix puerariae thomsonii.
