Abstract
In order to know the disinfection-related properties compound chlorine-containing effervescent disinfection tablet,suspension quantitative germicidal test and physicochemical examination method were used to carry out laboratory and field trial observation.Results: The killing logarithm values of Staphylococcus aureus exposed to the water solution of the disinfection tablet containing available chlorine 300 mg/L for 10 min,Escherichia coli exposed to the disinfection tablet solution containing available chlorine 400 mg/L for 5 min and Bacillus subtilis var.niger spores exposed to the disinfection tablet solution containing available chlorine 2000 mg/L for 30 min were 5.00.In capacity test for E.coli,the minimal eligible concentration was available chlorine 800 mg/L.In simulated field disinfection trial,wiping disinfection with the disinfection tablet water solution containing available chlorine 400 mg/L for 10 min killed vegetative forms of bacteria on surfaces by a logarithm 3.0.Immersion of medical instruments in its water solution containing available chlorine 2000 mg/L for 60 min killed B.subtilis var.niger spores on the instruments by a logarithm 3.0.Immersion in the disinfection tablet solution containing available chlorine 20000 mg/L for 72 h caused corrosion of metals to various degrees.Conclusion: Compound chlorine-containing disinfection tablet has good germicidal efficacy,but it causes corrosion of metals to certain degree.
