A Clinical Observation of 1% Terbinafine Ointment Was Used in the Treatment of Superficial Mycosis

Objective:To evoluate the efficacy and safety of 1% terbinafine ointment was used in the treatment of superficial mycosis. Methods:Forty patients with superficial mycosis were treated by 1% terbinafine ointment. Tinea corporis,tinea cruris and tinea versicolor were treated for two weeks, tinea manus and tinea pedis were treated for four weeks. After the treatment, the efficacy and safety have been evoluated. Results:Clinical data showed that the effective rate was 92.5%, mycological cure rate was 95% at the time of stop treatment, after another 2 weeks follow up, the effective rate was 95%, mycological cure rate was 97.5%, and the side effects rate was 2.5%. Conclusion:1% Terbinafine Ointment is a effective and safe drug in treatment of superficial mycosis.
