Abstract
OBJECTIVE To observe the amelioration effects of puerarin on blood cell aggregation in acute blood-stasis model rats.METHOD The acute blood-stasis model rats were made by injection adrenaline repeatedly and soaked ice water. The various kinds of markers of whole blood viscosity and erythrocyte aggregation in the rats were measured with auto-viscometer,and the maximum rate of platelet aggregation was measured by turbidimetry. RESULTS It was abnormally increased on the effects of blood viscosity, erythrocyte aggregation and platelet aggregation in the acute blood-stasis model rats.Puerarin injection had amelioration effects on them.CONCLUSION Puerarin injection can ameliorate the hemorheology and bate the blood cell aggregation which were abnormal augmentation in acute blood-stasis model rats, and these had a dose-response relationship.
