Abstract

Objective: To study the influence of erylhrocyle aggregation in the adjustment on blood viscosity. Methods: The rabbits were divided into control group (n=10) and experimental group (n=10). Dextran solution, which may lead to erythrocyte aggregation was injected into the rabbit body to observe the changes of hemorheology indices. Results: After injected the dextran intravenously, the rabbits of both groups showed significant changes in whole blood viscosity, blood viscosity, erylhrocyle accumulation and erythrocyte sedimentation rale changed significantly, p0.01. Conclusion: Eryth-rocyte aggregation involved in the blood viscosity adjustment.
