Abstract

Poetry is the art language of and it is the highly concentrated spirit of a nation.It contains far-reaching implications of its conception and a number of aesthetic elements.This paper discusses the aesthetic attributes of the poetry in the English translation as well as its performance,and elaborates on the theory of Communication translation and semantic translation of Peter Newmark,then analyses and appreciates the English translation of different versions by the theory for people to enjoy the beauty and get useful inspiration.
