The Suffix of "儿" in Zunyi Dialect

In Zunyi dialect,there exist the suffixations of the nonsyllabic and of the syllabic 儿.The syllabic suffix of 儿has long existed in Zunyi dialect.Some cases of such a suffix still retain the meaning of 儿.But the number of words with the suffix of 儿 is small.And the existing words with such a syllabic suffix is becoming fewer.An analysis is made on the number,structure and functions of words with 儿suffix in Zunyi dialect.The end position 儿 in Zunyi dialect is a linguistic phenomena of disappearing remnant.
