Abstract
Gushi dialect is subordinate to Zhongyuan Mandarin,but greatly different from Zhengzhou dialect.This article takes Liji vernacular for example,firstly discusses the characteristics of suffix 子 in Gushi dialect that has broad distribution with great quantity,mainly acts as noun suffix,and partial suffix 子 has the role of distinguishing the word meaning and expressing adding justice,etc.,then lists the words with suffix 子 that possess obvious dialect characteristic according to semantic classification,and finally compares Gushi dialect with Zhengzhou dialect.
