Abstract

The function of a certain zone within an area depends on the location,resources,geographical and natural environment,historic development as well as its functionality in the area.This paper begins with the city functions of Beijing,analyzes the spatial structure of Beijing as well as the functional orientation of different dis- tricts of Beijing.At the same time,the paper probes into the factor changes of these districts and then discusses their problems during the process of development.
