Open publisher page 2 citations

Abstract

Firstly, this study gives a clear definition of the city park by analyzing the former research. Then on the basis of the former classification of Beijing's city parks, the author classifies the city parks into four different graduations through the calculation of six indices, which include scale, form, number of supporting establishments, traffic convenience, open time and price. Then the spatial distribution features of Beijing's city parks are discussed, and therefore the relevant relationship between the spatial distribution of Beijing's city parks and the local economic development and the proportion of senior citizens is discovered. In the end, the study provides some advice for the future urban planning on the basis of the conclusion.
