Practice,Application and Truth:The value and Significance of Critical Hermeneutics as Methodology

Critical hermeneutics integrates semantic understanding of hermeneutics and critique of social institutions,highlighting the functions of practice,application and meditation of hermeneutics.It is the resurrection of Aristotle's classical wisdom.Critical hermeneutics realizes the transition of hermeneutics from understanding of meanings to exploring underneath truth of social phenomena,developing a new function of rational reconstruction for hermeneutics.Therefore,critical hermeneutics has become a methodological principle incorporating both theoretical wisdom and practical wisdom,and its value and significance could be expressed by three concepts—practice,application and truth.
