Effect of puerarin injection on platelet aggregation in acute blood-stasis model rats

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To observe the effect of puerarin injection on platelet aggregation in acut e blood-stasis model rats. METHODS The acute blood-stasis model rats were made by soaked ice water afer injected a drenaline hydrochloride in a major dose.The viscosities of whole blood and plasm a,blood yield stress and erythrocyte aggregation in the acute blood-stasis mode l rats were measured with Auto-Viscometer,and the maximum rate of platelet aggr egation in all groups were measured by turbidimetry. RESULTS Puerarin injection had amelioration effects on hemorheology and platelet aggreg ation in the acute blood-stasis model rats. CONCLUSION Puerarin injection can ameliorate the hemorheology and platelet aggregation whi ch were abnormal augmentation, and these had a dose-response relationship.
