Abstract

The porcine 5-HT4bR gene was cloned by RT-PCR and proved by bioinformation method. The DNA fragment was 1 209 bp with an open reading frame, encoding 402 amino acid. The sequence has been accessed by GenBank Database (Accession No. AY566638). The gene was highly homologous with that of other five species such as human and mouse. The identities of complete DNA sequence (CDS) of 5-HT4bR was 92.56% in nucleotide and 93.63% in amino acid sequences. The protein encoded by porcine 5-HT4bR gene had 7 tranmembrane structures and belonged to the superfamily of G-protein coupled receptors.
