Abstract

Objective:To discuss the value of earlier diagnoses and safety about the pulmonary mass by CT-guided percutaneous needle biopsy. Methods:CT-guided percutaneous needle biopsy was done in 37 cases who could not be diagnosed by other ways. Results: In 37 patients with thoracic diseases, tissue specimen and cytology diagnosis in 34 cases were obtained with a success rate of 91.89%. Conclusion: CT-guided percutaneous needle biopsy is an efficient method in diagnosis of thoracic diseases which are difficult to diagnose with high accuracy, less pain and low complications.
