Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the clinical short and long term effect influence of K3 and hand nickel titanium file after root canal therapy. Methods:A total of 365 molar teeth with pulpitis or chronic periapical periodontitis were selected and divided into two groups, one prepared by K3(K3 group)and the other by hand nickel titanium file(H group). They were prepaired with K3 and hand nickel titanium file, sealed with calcium hydroxide, filled with cold lateral condensation, observe and record the time of root canal therapy, postoperative pain and swelling reaction, the clinical curative effect after 1 years. Results:The time of root canal therapy of K3 group and postoperative reaction was significantly less than H group, there were no statistical difference in root canal therapy after 1 years. Conclusion:The root canal therapy of K3 has the advantage of efficient, better forming ability, better root canal filling effect and significantly reduced postoperative pain;and is an ideal instrument in root canal preparation.
