Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical effect of comfort nursing applied to the nursing work in operating room. Methods 126 patients underwent surgery in our hospital from January 2013 to January 2015 were randomly divided into study group and control group. The control group were treated with conventional nursing, while the study group were treated by comfort nursing. The heart rate, diastolic blood pressure, systolic blood pressure and other vital signs, clinical comfort effect and patient satisfaction with nursing of the two groups were counted and analyzed. Results After entering the operating room, the heart rate and blood pressure increased in both groups compared with before entering the operating room, furthermore, the increase of heart rate and blood pressure was greater in the study group(P0.05). After nursing, compared with the control group, the study group had much higher degree of overall clinical comfort(98.41% vs 82.54%), and obviously higher level of overall nursing satisfaction(98.41% vs 85.72%), the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion Application of comfort nursing in operation room nursing work, can reduce the tension, and significantly improve the degree of comfort and satisfaction rate of the patients, therefore it can be promoted extensively in clinical practice.
