Abstract

Objective To study the clinical value of transvaginal color doppler ultrasound(TVCDU) for the diagnosis of the caesarean scar pregnancy(CSP).Methods Thirty-one cases confirmed as CSP by surgery and pathology were retrospectively analyzed according to postoperative pathological diagnosis and the characteristics of TVCDU.Results The results showed that 24 patients were correctly diagnosed by ultrasound that the accuracy rate was 77.42%(24/31),7 cases were misdiagnosed(3 cases as cervix pregnancy,2 cases as incomplete abortion,1 case as trophoblastic disease,1 case as blood clots).Typical sonographic followed as 4 types: Gestational sac, remains, classic of trophoblastic disease, blood clots. Conclusions TVCDU is a feasible way with important clinical value for diagnosis of CSP.
